Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how shipping works at SCENTYBOX, including made-to-order timelines, tracking, and what to expect for high-value equipment.

1) Important: Production Lead Time (Made-to-Order)

Most machines and certain accessories are produced/prepared after purchase.

Production lead time: 40 business days (Monday–Friday) starting the next business day after payment is confirmed.

  • Orders placed on weekends/holidays begin processing the next business day.

  • During the production period, tracking is not available yet.

2) Fulfillment & Shipping Partner (Perfumatic)

SCENTYBOX coordinates fulfillment with our manufacturing/fulfillment partner (e.g., Perfumatic). In practice, this operates similarly to made-to-order fulfillment, where:

  • SCENTYBOX receives your order and payment through the Site, and

  • the order details are submitted to the fulfillment partner to produce and ship your equipment.

3) Where We Ship

We currently ship to:

  • North America (including Puerto Rico)

  • South America

If your destination is not available at checkout, contact us.

4) Shipping Method, Insurance & Tracking

  • Packages are shipped with tracking once dispatched.

  • High-value shipments may include insurance and may require signature upon delivery.

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order leaves the fulfillment facility.

5) Transit Times (After Production)

Transit times begin after the 40-business-day production lead time and are estimates only:

  • North America & Puerto Rico: 5–12 business days

  • South America: 7–15 business days

Delays may occur due to customs, weather, carrier issues, or peak seasons.

6) Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination.
For machines or oversized orders, a custom shipping quote may apply.

7) Customs, Duties & Local Taxes

Customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, brokerage fees, or local taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.

8) Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address.
We are not responsible for delays, losses, or additional fees caused by incorrect/incomplete addresses.

9) Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments

Damaged deliveries: Contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos/videos of:

  • the item damage/defect

  • the shipping box and labels

  • your order number

Lost deliveries / “Delivered” but not received:

  • verify the shipping address

  • check with neighbors/building reception

  • contact the carrier

  • contact us so we can assist with next steps

Delays: We will help you follow up, but carrier/customs delays may be outside our control.

10) Failed Delivery / Return-to-Sender

If a package is returned due to incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts, the customer is responsible for:

  • re-shipping fees

  • any return-to-sender charges from the courier
